Fantasy hair, makeup, and costume enthusiasts rejoice! The long-anticipated release of Ava Duvernay’s A Wrinkle In Time starring Oprah Winfrey, Reese Witherspoon, Mindy Kaling, Storm Reid, Zach Galifianakis, and Chris Pine, will finally hit the big screens this week. It’s not often enough that I get to flex my theatrical makeup and hair muscles so after seeing the trailer for the film, I immediately knew that I would want to do a blog post inspired by the movie. And who else would I call to get in on some of the over the top fantasy fun than my BFF Ms. Ash! My favorite part of this shoot was the prep. We had a ball running around at the LAST minute looking for pieces that could help us express our own individual interpretations of time travel, fantasy, and the age-old tale of Good vs. Evil.
